Halo the Fall of Reach Chapter 13-14

The plot happing in this chapter is the spartans are going to Chi Ceti 4 for a some thing called project MJOLNIR. Along the way the Commonwealth, the frigate Dr. Hasly and her spartans are taking to get the plant, incounters a Covante ship and gets into a battle. Both the ships take massive damage Dr. Hasly and the spartans leave the ship to go down to Chi Ceti 4 to get project MJOLNIR as the Commonwealth makes a diverstion for them. The spartans make it down and find out that project MJOLNIR is not a weapon but armor. The spartans,  Dr. Hasly, and the people at the station head back to the Commonwealth. Along the way the damaged Conante ship is spotted and heading towards the frigate. John, the main charactor of the book, asks Dr. Hasly permission to destroy the Covanate ship. John and the other spartans go out and destroy the ship but losing a spartan named Sam.

Halo the Fall of Reach Ch 4-6

The book I am reading is called Halo the fall of Reach. The book if you had to put in chronological  order to the video games was this book happened before the video games even came out. This book is about what happened to Reach and the story what happened there. At the beginning of chapter four it starts a new section called boot. At this point the children that were chosen to participate in the program SPARTAN. They go though vigorous training and studies though the next few chapters. When I read these chapters and thought about what these kids went though to I realized that the kids just went though living hell. Finding out that their parents and not with them any more (the UNSC's lie) and that they are going to be the best the army can make them. I understood more, in the video games and other books, why the Spartans were so important and so good at what they did.
